The Weimaraner is a large, intelligent, sporty dog, with a natural inclination for good manners. This breed makes a great house pet, with exercise or a fenced yard to have fun in.  The natural athletic ability and hunting background, makes this an excellent choice for outdoorsy families.  Jogging, hiking, frisbee, weekend hunting or search and rescue events, or just plain fun, are favorite activities for this breed. When indoors,  laying by the fireplace and loving his family, are what he likes best           

Our Weimaraners are solidly built, with a good square head.  We prefer the light silver-gray colors. Some will have a patch of white on the chest area, this is permissible.  The Weimaraner is an intelligent, easy to train dog.  Housebreaking is simple and easy. All large dog breeds are greatly benefited by puppy kindergarten training classes at 4 months.
